昨年4月1日リリースのRev. 0.41 Aprilfool version からちょうど一年．新バージョン Rev. 0.42をリリースします！
昨年のお楽しみ，さらにパワーアップしております，どうぞご笑納ください．

このバージョンはしかし，単なるお楽しみリリースにはとどまりません．

• VSQファイルがドラッグアンドドロップで指定できます．
  
• 日本語以外のVSQファイルの解析に便利な新モード "standard, raw-phonetics". 各音に付した発音記号がそのまま出力されます．
  

といった新機能をつけました．お試しいただければさいわいです．
新モードの実装にあたり，子猫P様から貴重な情報を提供いただきました．深く感謝いたします．またvocaloid色パレットも参考にさせていただきました．ありがとうございました．
そして，ルカ様，これで英語の発音記号も取り出せます．遅くなりましたことどうかお許しくださいませ．

• 変換処理は，GUIと独立したPerlスクリプトvsqtxt2lipsyncが実行している．他のアプリケーションからこのPerlスクリプトを起動して処理を自動実行できます．引数，コマンドラインオプション等はスクリプトの冒頭に詳細に書いてありますのでご覧ください．
  
• 変換テーブルの各行に，正規表現と置換文字列とを書いておくと，各音の発音記号について，最初にマッチする正規表現に対応する置換文字列が，"label"として書き出されます．
  
• シーケンスの途中にtempo meta eventがあっても追従します．さらにそのテンポで小節番号と拍点をビート仮想トラックとして出力することができます．

Please note, however, that this is not a "just-for-fun" release: It has a couple of new functionalities, like:

• A VSQ file can be now specified by drag-and-drop operation, and
  
• A new mode "standard, raw-phonetics" is introduced, in which the phonetic strings in the note events are output as are. This is useful for processing a VSQ file with non-Japanese lyrics.

So please try out by yourself!

• The actual conversion is done by an independent Perl script "vsqtxt2lipsync". Other applications, therefore, can invoke this perl script to execute the conversion automatically. At the beginning of the Perl script stay a plenty of comments about the arguments and the commandline options for your convenience.
  
• Pairs of a regular expression and a substitution string can be listed in the conversion table: Vocalips matches the phonetic string in each note event against each of the regular expresssions one by one, to identify the first match and to output the substitution string in the "label" field in the output file.
  
• Vocalips can analyze multiple tempo meta events in the sequence appropriately. Also, it can generate a vertual beat track that consists of measure/beat indice, following the tempo change.
